Hi,
Use 48 for the audio, and trying the Avid DV codec is a good idea, too.

....and I used those settings last night with a noticible improvement as the sync seems to be better.....however. The video in the QT movie seems to be slow, any camera movements or zooms have a slightly delayed effect but I can't tell if it's the rendered file that's causing it or the computer struggling with the file. The exported QT file is a whopping 17.5 GB. Should this improve once I convert it to an MpegII? I'm going to do this tonight.
IME, QT has issues playing back video at full frame size, try setting view properties in QT player to half size and see if playback improves.
If it does, then it's just your proc having trouble.
