older pro tool le session to CD

I have in the past burned comlete pro tools sessions 8 tract usually,if total size small enough,to a cd that when I put in another computer mac or pc it would open the session just as I left it to continue editing.with all tracts still seperate and inserts and effects etc would be same.I had been sick and forgot how I did this.I have found out on some of the newest protool programs I might have to copy the file to hard drive first, then it will open ,it is quite slow but the cds I made 2-3 years ago still work.I just cant remember how I made them.THANKS if you can help,I am slow to answer .Embarrassed

I found my own answer ,Pro Tools has to be turned off, then transfer the forder to whatever medium it will fit on.
