Having this Picture-in-Picture jitter issue---not a new issue but just so sick of having it. Anyone have a solution. When the picture moves any which way---it jitters! Doesn't matter how fast or slow you make it---it just won't stop. Please tell me that someone has found an AVID solution to making pictures float on and off screen NICELY?!?!? HELP!
I'm having the same problem and would be thankfull if anyone has a solution.
thanks
Are you using keyframes to move the pitcure ?
Are you by any chance watching an interlaced program on a progressive monitor?
Yes i'm using keyframes.
@"Job ter Burg":no i'm watiching the clip on a broadcast monitor that does fine with interlaced material.
The jitter doesn't concern the fields, it's just the movement of the videolayer itself is jerky/jittery.
I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong or if MediaComposer can't render the movement smoother.
The solution is simple.Add another effect onto the PIP.
For example (since all avid types have that effect) drag (with alt) the color correction effect (under image) onto your PIP. Don't adjust it, just render and it will do the trick.
I usually add a timewarp (without adjustments) to solve it.
Hi SoHo,
I tried your solution but sadly it didn´t improve the quality.
but maybe I have found the cause of the issue. The material I captured was recorded as progressiv and the project I´m working in is interlaced.
could this be the cause of my problem?
