    transfering from MM to interplay

    we have two avid systems:

A large unity system with 30 or so newscutters (6.2) all running on media manager....

and my LanShare with a couple of NCA 6.7, nitris 1.7 all running on Interplay. we can't access the assets from the Unity environment directly but we can copy files from MM over to interplay using transfer manager through Access (dropping MM clips into interplay transfer status window). Is anyone else doing this? seems like a weird workflow (it's not working right now so I thought I would see what others might be doing). Thanks for your thoughts

I assume you're essentially doing a "send to workgroup" by dragging and dropping.

If it's still not working, then set up your TM client to see the Interplay Engine and do a Send to Workgroup.
