Hi,

I’m about to buy an AVID unqualifiedd laptop and I just wanted to hear if any of you guys have had problems with the Nvidia 8600m gt graphics card? I haven’t read any success stories with this card yet only that “ronineditor” seems to have a working system with the 8600m GS.

So please, if anyone has any ideas about this card – let me know.

Oh, yes, I want to run AVID XP Pro 5.6 on the machine.

I hope you read this: Did you end up buying the unqualified laptop with the Nvidia 8600m gt graphics card? Does Avid XPress Pro 5.6 run smoothly on it?

I am about to purchase a MacBook Pro with that same graphics card and want to make sure Avid Xpress Pro 5.6 will run on it using Windows XP Professional.
