Ssnygg:I would like to add the ability to not have to enter text. In older version, entering text was an additional step. Now it is a mandatory one.

Ssnygg:Ok, now I want a change to the way the disable pop ups works. I want to be able to lay down my fifty markers without pop ups and then be able to double click on a marker of my choosing (one IN the the clip or composer main window as opposed to the ones in the timelines of those windows). when double clicked I want to be able to read the full text or write new text without having to go through three windows of clicking around. to get the thing to pop up and then put it back to the way it was.
I agree 2008% with snygg and anyone else who is tormented by the feature formerly known as "Locators". I hope that I'm mistaken & have to eat crow for complaining, but it does seem to me that now (MC v3.0) I cannot simply click on a Locator to add or change it's text without first selecting that option in the Locator's hamburger menu, which I had to turn off because for some reason, adding a locator to previously captured footage mean't I have to deal with a pop-up window whether I wanted to or not. To make matters worse, we cannot map this little nasty to a keyboard shortcut. This is horrible and annoying. I use locators just like syngg- sometimes to cue picture, other times for sound. Would it kill the programmers to add an ALT+ option so that my different colored, mapped keyboard assignments can add their little dots without stopping me to ask for text? And while we're at it- when oh when is it going to be possible to jump to specific next or previous colored locators ? Also- can I add the locator color of my choice during capture?
p.s. why dont we get Locator text in that groovy new Real Time Burn-in plugin?
