    Audio dropouts on capture

    Hi all,

Im A newbee at the site, and I have a problem. I have had AL7 for about a year now. Had no problems untill about 3 months ago when I went to capture about 3 hrs of wedding footage into me avid. As it got about 10 mins into the capture  I noticed Audio dropouts on capture but not on the tape. problem was fixed when i reinstalled avid over the top of itself. since then i have upgraded to the 7.2. has been working fine untill the same problem accured. Question is. would it be a setting in the avid or time for an upgrade on somthing.

System info. Windows XP SP2. Celeron R CPU 3.07Ghz, 2 gb DDr2 -667 ram, Ati Radeon X1650 Pro 256mb DDRZ, 300gb hard drive backup drive + 80gb general drive. with Internal High Definition Audio.

    Cheers guys.
