    Microsoft Visual C++Runtime Library / Runtime Error: When clicking on Bin Settings/Video Display

    Hi Guys

    When I go to Bin Settings and click on Video Display to check Open GL I get this error message and then the Avid program crashes: 

    Microsoft Visuall C++ Runtime Library.

    Runtime Error: 

    "This application has requested Runtme to terminate it in an unusual way.  Please contact the applications support team for more information."    

    Have any of you ran across this or know what it means?

    Poster # 1, try different drivers. OpenGL support is NVIDIA only at this moment.

    Poster # 2, same as 1 with the difference that Media Center is not supported and should be tweaked to act like XP. Search the forum i believe it was Brain Williams that posted some tweaks.

    Both can try to run alternative drivers from Omega. Do take note.. all at your own risk!

    i try all driver witch i can found ( Omega and Original )
    Make the Grafik Card the Problem or what Component is not working??

    I Dont find anything form Brain Williams
    Can you post the Link to the Post


    The problem is that my Notebook has a High Definition Sound card. And this Sound card only works good on Windows XP Mediacenter.

    Sorry if this sounds elementary

    Do I download an Omega version of an ATI driver or an Nvidia driver?  And how do I know which one is best for AXP?
