    DOMAIN_COPYOUT_FAILED

When choosing a 'PROJECT' in select project box I get following error report:

    Unable to open file 'filename'

with 'ok' and 'more' buttons. 'More'  takes me to further info:

Unable to open file 'filename' (a project name)
    Exception: DOMAIN_COPYOUT_FAILED
End of file reached on 'filename.avp'

Ive tryed the various remedies for bin problems but this is a PROJECT problem.
I cant even open my project to get at any bins.

Searching on system for the 'filename.avp' file finds one in Avid Users and one in Avid Projects. Neither seem currupt or unusual in any way!!

    Anyone help.

Have you tried creating a new project and copying the bins from the old project into it (at the Windows level)?

If a corrupt bin is open in the project when you launch it, it could block the launch.

There's a key command for opening a project and forcing all bins to stay closed, but I can't recall what it is right now.

    Hi Kenton,

Press and hold the ALT key when you double click on the project name and it will open without opening any bins.

    Re: DOMAIN_COPYOUT_FAILED

I tried opening new project and transferred bins over. This works fine. Thanks, both of you.
