    Nitris DX offline

    Hello-It's been months since I've fired up this machine. I upgraded to 2018.10 last year. The NitrisDX worked. Now my NitrisDX is off line and I don't know why. The Host Link and HD-SDI A lights blink, sometimes Host is steady, but none of the other lights fire-up like they used to. I've googled/searched every where. Cold booted everything.

    The old hardware cog wheel on top of the sequence has been replaced with background services, which was paused, I turned it onto to start and that turns on "dynamic mode", I don't even know what that is. I put that back on pause and when I click on the cog/settings wheel I get "must start Avid Editor Services Manager", which using help I can't find. My video output and input tools are greyed out. I saw a post on a forum and ran the .exe for ProgramsAvid\Utlilies\DXDrivers\DXDrivex64.Win7,exe, and that took forever to launch as it showed it was making changes to Avid but no change. (I had renamed DXDriver64.win10 to ".old"., but on boot it created a W10.exe...I'm on W7, and I had hever heard of that step.)

    Next to the cog wheel on the sequence is an icon for "HW/SW Disable". When I toggle that my Video Output Tool becomes un-greyed, Input still is grey. When I click on that it just offer options on the computer for output, but nothing for the NitrisDX, so it's still not being seen. I'm sorry if this is a repeat post, I've searched high and low to no avail.

    Thank you. I swapped out Nitris boxes and no joy so based on AEoFB comments they recommended the card needed reseating or was toast, then I hooked up the old one and it came back... kinda... all the lights are where they need to be and the video input and output tool is ungreyed in MC. I see the Nitris in Device Manager now in Control Panel but no picture on my monitor. I've had 1 ticket in some 15 years. How does this work? I assume there's a support phone number on youir site somewhere I can call. I'm wonder what I may need to do to ping or test the Nitris. I dunno.

    Thank you, that exactly what I was trying to find. It says it failed. I don't have anything looped through so I didn't run that, just HD-SDI and HD-Component out. HD-Component out has gone missing/isn't working.

    Not sure if you can answer this but...when I change Format in the Project Window in 2018.10 (which used to be in the Tools\Video Output) is that just for viewing or dose it change/upres the timeline/rendered output to this format. IE: I have an SD job but would like to view in HD on the god monitor, but output to 480/24p, which is this project, No worries if its a hassle to find out. This is a strange rare SD job.
