Nvidia Drivers for MC & PP

    Hi all.

Does any one know if the previous problems (with finding a version of Nvidia driver that works with both MC and Premiere) has been resolved?

PP 2019 is requiring the installation of the latest version of driver (probably 431.02 for my setup) to be able to use CUDA.

I'm using 391.33, which is fine for MC 2018.9 and Resolve 15 (on W10), but I wonder if anyone has got MC running successfully with the later versions of Nvidia driver.

Using nVidia driver 411.95 here w/ no issues, seems fine in resolve studio 15 as well.

Re: Nvidia Drivers for MC & PP

Thought I'd reply with an update.

Thanks for the tip Bonang. I installed the 411.95 drivers and all seems well with Avid and Resolve. Adobe Premiere now doesn't pop up the warning message any more and will allow me to use the Mercury Playback Engine.

As with all new graphics drivers, I'm slowly making my way through my installed programs to see if anything has been upset by the new drivers. The only thing I can report at present is that one of the LibreOffice suite of apps started playing up.

Impress (Libreoffice's Powerpoint app) failed to display correctly in presentation mode. For those interested, I found I could cure the problem by turning off 'Hardware Acceleration' & turning on 'Use GPU' in the options menu.
