Hi I just got Phrasefind and after completing the scan, I did a search for a word, and when I double click on the result it just open the clip but not on the word. If you have an hour long clip and it does not tells you the location of the word, that what is good for? Also the option to search on a timeline with Phrasefind is grayed our. You can’t find words on timelines???

Text find is a standard part of Media Composer. It allows the user to search all metadata across all bins in a project. Media Composer will automatically install the English language packs. For additional language support, you must install the Avid Language Packs from your Avid Master Account.
What language pack are you using?
Have you ever used PF on this system prior?
Avid Bin Indexer indexes all of the information in the bins, Avid Phonetic Indexer indexes all of the phonetic information in the audio files, and Avid Search Service searches the indexed databases to locate the information you're looking for.
I might try this: SearchData or PhoneticData (if you have PhraseFind installed) folders from your Project folder. You can only delete them when your editing application is not running. The next time you launch your editing application, Find will then re-index all of the bins within your project.
