    Avid Media Composer Crashing when trying to update or reinstalling

    When trying to reinstall or update MC it loads the software needed until and included of Pace 3.1.3. then the Windows Installer crashes. I tried to de- install and re-install MC 2018.9 because Updating to 2018.12 didnt work and old Titles coudnt be modified, only new ones created. Now I cant even re-install the old version 2018.9. The Avid Support forms are very compicated and misguiding to even send a request. this seems to be the only place possible for MC support request. I do use a USB dongle since I sometimes have to edit projects on amac besides windows, but never at the same time. With 2018.9 it worked until yesterday, but not after reinstalling.

    Update Options

            Applies update(s)

    Repair Options

            Repairs a product
            p - only if file is missing
            o - if file is missing or an older version is installed (default)
