Editing Go Pro Fusion Footage in Avid 2018.3

    Hi all

I'm wanting to bring Go Pro Fusion VR footage into my project. I've stitched it together in Go Pro VR Studio and then transcoded to a flat prores 422 file. Is that the workflow? What's the workflow if I want to buy and use the Mocha VR plug-in for Avid?

Just want to know before I lay out the cash.

    cheers

    Scott

Boris CC has VR AVX effects (though I've not used them). You can get them seperately for $199

If you don't have this then, there should be nothing wrong with you creating an appropriate size project raster and editing your footage in Avid - however you may find reorientating tricking without the plugin.

    hope this helps

Thanks jakeheat. I was hoping someone had tried it.

    For anyone else looking :

I have downloaded and BCC VR Untis worx fine. Still have to stitch and flatten. It will work with flattened AMA/Linked files in a standard HD project. Can't import unflattened files as per other NLE's.

Quiet in forums this day. All on FB I guess. Such a shame. A great knowledge base here.

    thanks once again.

I myself have no need to do vr work right now. I did manage to pull up this tutorial of Mocha VR in Avid if you haven't saw it yet.
