We've come across a bug in 2018.12 and 2018.12.1, wondering if anyone else has experienced this. We used the new Create Multigroup feature and when the group is opened in an older version of Avid (2018.11 and lower), we're not able to click on the camera bank when viewing Quad or 9-Split. It works fine in the same version but not older ones.
It seems to have this issue when there are multiple sections in the timeline, as there would be in a normal reality TV syncmap, as cameras/audio start and stop throughout the day. If there's only one section, it seems to work fine.
I recorded some video of me putting together a group and testing it. There are two videos. GROUPING 2018.12 is of me creating the group in 2018.12, which worked. GROUPING 2018.11 shows me opening up this group in 2018.11 and it not working. I did not change anything between these steps - just closed it in one and opened it in the other. Thank you, Marianna!
In addition to what Rob mentioned regarding the new grouping feature,
We also noticed that we are not able to match back to the original master clips on older versions as well. There is also an issue with the timecode not showing up on the timeline. If the group was made the old way it shows TC in older versions of avid. If the Group if it was made in the new grouping method there is no TC in older versions of avid.
Then we noticed that we are not able to match back to the original master clips on older versions as well.

I have support on this - case # 03648103
Has this been pursued? I'm just experiencing it now.
I'm running 2018.9 and am unable to match back from a multigroup created in a later version. Is there a 2018 version where this has been fixed?
version 2018.12.3 and the match-back is working fine. New multigroups are still sluggish thought.
