    This software was released past your contract expiration date

    I recently purchased 2018.11 of MC (previously had a version of 8.6) but now getting the the above message on launch. I've tried some suggestions from previous forums on the same subject but with no luck.

    Any help would be much appreciated/

    Ive just updated from 2018.11 to 2018.12 and am getting the same message.

    Applcaton manager states peretual expires on 08/12/2019, but on running MC thinks it expired on 08/12/2018 !

    Hi Steve,

    You should edit this post to remove your system ID number.

    To deal with the error message you're seeing, you should first try deactivating your license and then reactivating it. The Application Manager needs to check in with Avid once a year to update license information, and deactivating/reactivating will take care of this.

    You need to "phone home" once at least during the 365 days of the plan to make sure the License, MyAvid and Appman are in sync. 

    Dongle - reflash it with the updater on MyAvid

    SW license - deactivate then activate

    Voila - i removed your system ID from the post

    Hello,

    I had the same issue some weeks ago with one of my Dongle systems. Downloading the Updater-File from my account was not possible.

    I had to contact support and got a new Updater-File.

    Now I have the same issue with another system. And I have two more systems to update in the next few days or weeks and don't know yet if I will get this problem again.

    For the one system now I used the live chat function but nobody was available. After sending my question the window just closed and I don't know if it got through...
