It it possible to save a copy of a sequence - not only the clips and effects, but also the timeline track layout?

I've spent ages trying to do this - not just for versioning an existing sequence, but also as a quick way of creating and using "standard formatted" sequences, with the desired track configuration, pre-programme colour bars/tone and countdown etc.

I sdimply cannot find out how to accomplish thei - I started by trying Ctrl-C to copy a sequence from the sequence bin, but this doesn't work. Curiously (at least for a windows user) there is no Copy or Duplicate option on a right mouse click for the timeline menu.

Any ideas or solutions out there?

Ctrl-D will duplicate your sequence(s) in the bin.

Hello Adrian,

Here is how I did this.

Start a new project.

Create your timeline like you love to have it. put everything (sequence, audio, video, titles, graphics, etc...) in one bin.

Right click on this bin, and Add Bin to Favorites.

Now you can open this timeline in every new project you will be creating. There will be created a folder called Favorite Bins, with your standard timeline layout in it.
