    Copy/Paste effects in timeline

    The ability to select a segment in the timeline and copy only the effects.  Then select another segment, or group of segments, and paste those effects onto those segments.  Being able to separate/include color-correction from this would be cool.

    you probably know this so i apologize if you do.

    But you know you can drag the effect icon from a clip into a bin.. select all the clips you want that effect on, double click the effect icon you dragged earlier and it will copy all.

    But youre right, if there are nested effects, a copy paste atributtes like premiere would help.

    Yes.  I know that, but thanks for trying to help out.  I like being able to drag effects into a bin to use later, or as a template. 

     

    But it is very slow and it seems like it should be possible to just copy/paste attributes.  Something akin to "paste formats" in excel.
