Final Cut Pro on a Avid

I have a job coming in but they have already dig 30 hours of rushes in to a Final Cut Pro. So too not have to redig all their rushes I was wondering if I could install Final Cut on my Adrenaline with out it falling apart?
I thought a had seen some one say this was a bad idea but could not find the old threads.

There are just so many variables that the only way, in my opinion, to keep FCP and MCA on a system is if either partition the internal harddrive or add a second harddrive to your system.  This way, you can install MCA on one volume and FCP on the second.

I run both systems on one partition of my Adrenaline system. There really is no problem. The only thing to be aware of is the capture card. If you are using an Aja card, you'll need to disable it when launching the AVID by holding down the SHIFT key.

One yes. One no. Anyone else?

I work on MCA in the office and I am running FCP on my Quad at home. I would like to add the Media Composer software to my Quad. I would prefer to simply install the software on my mac without the partition. No capture cards, but I do have the MOJO.

    Thanks
