    media tool and subclips...

After searching through the forum, it appears that there's no way to search and find all subclips in a project.  Is that correct?  Media tool won't show a list of all of them?

I ask as I'm trying to relink subclips that were made from AMA linked clips originally that have now been transcoded.

    Thanks.

I'm pretty sure there isn't a way to do this.  In Media Composer, Subclips link to their parent Master Clips, not to the media. So the Media Tool won't show them as it is just a way to show the Master Clips that are linked to the media of a project.

Similarly, if you Transcode linked clips, you make new Master Clips that are linked to the new media you generate. Any subclips you made before the Transcode will remain linked to the Master Clips they were made from.

Thanks for that.  Just so you know however, after transcoding the linked clips, the previously created subclips link just fine to the newly created transcoded cips (thank God).  I've done that before with no problem as well.  It's just a pain to go bin by bin and do them if you can't group all the subclips together.
