Hello,
Today my online editor pc had an issue.
We have Avid Media composer 8.9.4 with symphony option, we opened a timeline from another pc for the client (no write permission) and when we open again in the online editor pc, avid ask to update the timeline, the total run time of the sequence change and we found problem on the timewarp (the clip changed).
Anyone had the same issue?
where they both the same versions of MC?

Thanks for the expeditious.
We have the same version on all the pc Avid media Composer 8.9.4.
We don't switch to the newer release for the blu padlock, we work with many editors at the same time on the same project.
We've seen this as well on 8.8.5. We think it might be related to going from an Avid that has Symphony option to an Avid that doesn't and then back to the Avid with Symphony.
But, the resultant problem is a clip with a Timewarp effect gets retimed on the timeline which can cause huge sync issues to form and the whole timeline to shift. It's like Avid looks at the in/out marks of a clip that is timewarped and redrops the clip into the timeline as if using those marks but without the timewarp effect. Then drops the timewarp effect back on the clip.
For example: clip is 6 seconds long, but timewarp has a ramp resulting in the clip timeing out to 3 seconds on the timeline. When Avid "updates" the sequence it changes the clip to 6 seconds long on the timeline and drops the timewarp back on.
