8.8.5 crash when you open bin from finder level?

I've discovered a possible bug in 8.8.5. If you hit "find bin" and get the "bin not in this project" message, and do not hit OK, then go to the finder level, find that missing bin and open it, without hitting OK in the Avid Dialogue box, Avid will lock you out.

Any work arounds in this scenario without force quitting?

    This was fixed in 8.9.3

Bug Number: MCCET-2093. (Mac) You could not open a bin by accessing the Finder and double clicking a bin from the Avid Projects folder.
