    Windows 10 on V8.4

    Hello,

I am currently running AMC v8.4 on windows 8.1 pro.  I need to upgrade to windows 10 and I am wondering if anyone here is running 8.4 or a version of AMC on an os that is not "qualified" and if they are or are not having issues.

    Thanks

I can verify, That MC 8.4 runs under Widows 10 Pro 64 bit. I have installed Windows 10 since it arrived, and all MC versions had no problems. Initially I had made a Windows upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and MC was running with no problems after the upgrade process.

Unfortunately I do not suggest to use MC 8.4 on Windows 10. I have had the experience of this and faced with the slowdown of the program. Yes, first time everything looks fine, but after a while you will begin to notice it.

    Re: Windows 10 on V8.4

Since you're upgrading your OS, seems a good time to upgrade MC as well.

Version 8.10 is a good upgrade from 8.4 and is qualified for Win 10.

I did exactly this on a HP laptop and I can confirm that everything runs smoothly, with 8.10 not seeming to require any additional speed/resources from the hardware.
