I've been using MacDrive 10.5 for a project on MC 2018.7/Windows 7. It works flawlessly, with one small annoyance--Creating a new folder using the Avid menu creates the folder, but then gives an error (making new bins works fine, it's only folders that are an issue). The workaround is to make the folder manually on a windows drive, then move it over to the mac drive. After that it works fine, no errors. It's only a small annoyance, but it is an annoyance. Has anyone else experienced this or figured out a way to solve it?
Can confirm this has been my experience with macdrive as well. I don't have a workaround, unfortunately.

I regularly use MacDrive with Mac formatted drives for media files, and never had an issue with folder creation. Could this be a project only thing?

I have the project on the mac drive, not just the media files. I could move it over, but the AE clones the drive every now and then and I want him to get the project along with it.
I see Your point. Couldn't You keep the project in a different location and ask the AE to clone the media drive and make a backup copy of the project wherever that is located?
Yes, probaby, but like I said as it is, it's only a minor annoyance. Not that often I have to make a folder. It's easier to keep the workflow the way everyone is used to. I was more curious to see if there was a way to fix what was causing the error.
