    Thanks for the update.

In co-installation notes (http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/compatibility/Coinstall-for-Avid-Media-Composer-6-5-3-and-Pro-Tools-11), there's the following comments:  "There are known issues with MC 2018.7 and 2018.7.1 with Pro Tools". Where can we find more detiails about these issues?

Re: For those that use Pro Tools - v2018.7 is now available

    Damien

First, in PT 2018.7 they fixed a co-install incompatibility with video hardware and Media Composer 2018.5 (UME-1422)

Secondly, macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 and later is not recommended for use with PT 2018.7 due to performance issues at lower buffer sizes.  So if you have 10.13.3 you are good.

Thirdly, co-install of Pro Tools 2018.7 and Media Composer 2018.7 on Windows does not allow Media Composer to be a Video Satellite.

Fourth...... You must uninstall all older versions of Media Composer or Pro Tools before installing newer versions. Co-install does not support both applications launched simultaneously.

Fifth..... Before installing Media Composer 2018.7, you must launch Pro Tools 2018.7 once to complete the Pro Tools installation.

    Hope that helps...
