Launch Error RE: A Nonexistent VM??

I've installed and updated everything. When I try to launch the app I get an error message: "this program not supported under VM instances" However, I have no VM running. It's regular Windows 10 on my SurfaceBook2.

Hyper V is not running either. Any ideas?

Doesn't make me want to buy the full app if this is how it runs. Thanks!

    Jared

Are you sure Hyper V is not running?

    1. Go to Windows System Control Panel.

    2. Select Apps and Features.

    3. Scroll to the bottom and select Programs and Features link.

    4. Select Turn Windows features on or off link.

    5. Expand Hyper-V option.

    6. Expand Hyper-V platform.

    7. Disable Hyper-V Hypervisor.

    8. restart your system.

If this doesnt work then we need to look at your computer specifications to see if they are sufficient enough to run the application.

I'm positive it's not running. See the attached screen shots.

I also uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled, restarted, tried to launch Media Composer and got the same error.

    Hi jaredtraum,

I checked with the hardware experts the SurfaceBook2 is not qualified for MC.
