Could not open file because "DISK_LOCKED"

    Hello,

Trying to export a long sequence trying different things and now I'm getting above message.  I also have an icon in a clip that looks like a  lock.  Have no idea how it got there.

Thanks for the help in advance.

I'm not a Mac person, so I can only guess at the "DISK LOCKED" error and say you should check your permissions on the drive you're trying to export to. You should have read & write permission.

As for the icon, it's an adapter. There's more information on this thread:

Thanks for the response.  I have read and write permissions on the disk so it isn't that.  As for the adapter, it is now gone.  Thanks for the aritcle.  However, there remains a small, square, green dot.  I've seen these before but can't remember what it indicates.

This error can occur when the system's internal hard drive is too full.  On the Mac, you may need to repair disk permissions form the Disk Utility as well.

Re: Could not open file because "DISK_LOCKED"

    Hi Marianna,

Thanks for the response.  My hard drive has 2.77 TB of disk space so I don't think it is that.  I ran First Aid as well.  I have not seen this message come up since.  My biggest problem is exporting same as source because the format of the video is

AVC Long-GOP Constrained Baseline (HD1080p).  I have custom exported the sequence but it comes out "thin" and very grainy.  I think my only alternative might be to scrap using Source Browser and just import everything with the correct settings.
