    Failed to change priority

Can't launch AVID Media Composer FIRST. Error message on start up/during Configuring Digital I/O Subsystem is:

    Avid Media Composer First 18.5.0.48725
Exception: std:: exception, what: Failed to change priority

Running on an iMac with OS 10.13.4, 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and 12 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

Any idea on how to fix?
