Hi,
I've been having issues with AAF's from Avid linking back to source material in Resolve- particularly when I have consolidated/transcoded media with the "new.01" extension. I found an article on Creative Cow (and another on Avid's site). Suggesting a workflow in which you basically copy the "start" column of all your clips to the "auxillary TC2" column, and the name column gets copied to the "LINK" column. The Auxillary TC2 copy already seemed to help out my AAF's... but I just upgraded to MediaComposer 2018.4 and "LINK" doesn't appear to be a bin heading option. Has it been renamed or does it simply not exist?
If you're curious about the articles I'm referencing, they are here:

I don't remember that column. The fact that it was all caps makes me think it's a user-created column, but that doesn't seem to be obvious from the article.

Ah, ok. That makes sense I guess. I just don't understand metadata pathways, I guess. Thanks again for your time.
I've been using this method too. Yes, it's a column you create manually when you first link your footage.

Ah! Ok, great! Thanks for clearing it up!
Had the same question when I read the blog article and couldn't find the LINK column anywhere. Thank you for clarifying guys!
