Choppy Playback on one system but not others (Nexus)

    Hey Folks,

I'm having an usual problem where archival masters from a major Network run fine on my system (MC 8.8.5) and on another system (8.6.1) it plays back choppy with static. The footage was given to us as XDCAM HD 50 Media, 1080i/60 and we're cutting in a 29.97 project on shared NEXUS space. Two other systems on the project don't exhibit this issue. Naturally the one system that does is the editors' One way I can get around this is to transcode the footage to an Avid Codec or ProRes and the problem goes away. Unfortunatly there's hours and hours of footage.

Is the only problematic system 8.6.1?

Are you all set up the same with Nexus and are those versions all supported with the same Nexus version?

Thanks for the reply. All of the systems are running which according to the Compatibility matrix on Avid is supported. I didn't mention this before but only our Archival footage in XDCAM is giving trouble. All of our regular footage is in DNxHRLB and isn't giving any troubles.
