    Maestro Graphics FAQ

    Hi there!

    This will be an evolvoing FAQ to cover questions that emerge as the forum evolves.

    We'll get started with some initial common questions and add more over time.

     

    Q1. Is this forum suitable for answering urgent support questions?

    A1. If you are experiencing an issue that has the potential to endanger a production, then you should contact our Customer Care team through this portal:

    Ideally non-cirital questions should be asked here - we'll do our best to help out, but we can't replace our dedicated support team. Members of the Customer Care team will be keeping an eye on postings, so if they see anything that looks like it should be turned into a support case, they will intervene.

    Q2. Can I suggest improvements or new features for the software discussed here?

    A2. Yes - and we welcome your input so that we can ensure that we are designing tools that address your needs. We may not be able to add something to the next release, but we want to log all of these ideas and implement whatever we can. We'd also like to include these in the Avid Customer Association votes so that the wider community can vote on whether we should develop in this direction.

    Q3. When is the next release?

    The Maestro Graphics suite has planned releases in June and December each year. This predictable spacing allows the team to add meaningful improvements, that can be adopted by users at a suitable time.
