    change system id in media composer

    Hi guys,  

    i buyed a new lapto (macbook pr retina 13) and i need install the media composer that installed in the my old lapto. I read that i have change the system id? How do you I?  I'ts much complicated?

    The system ID doesnt normally change unless you have a subscription that expired and bought  new one.  If you have MC on a the older Mac and want to install it on the new mac....  you would simply download and install the correct verion on the new laptop.  Then make sure you have deactivated the license on the old via the Avid License Control software for earlier versions and the AppMan for newer versions.  Then on the new laptop launch and activate.  Make SURE the version you have of MC is compatible with the version of OS on your mac.

    You can do a search for MC documentation and that will bring up most of the ReadMe files for the versions and you can open the one that pertains to your MC.
