Yearly and monthly Avid subscription clarification

I am sure this has been asked a million times but I have yet to find it posted, so apologies for this.

If I buy and Avid yearly or monthly subsciption, but miss an upgrade (for example if I am on 10.6 and wanted 10.9), would I only be able to upgrade to the current avaible version (right now, 8.10, I think)? Ot could I get an older version such as 8.9?

As I said I am sure this is posted somewhere, and I do remember being told that I could only download the most current version on a subscription plan, this but I am just trying to verify this out before I speak to a post supervisor about a job I am about to start.

Re: Yearly and monthly Avid subscription clarification

    Hello dugmoore,

Edited my first comment, MC license is backward compatible to lower version for perpetual license only. Subscription and Floating Licenses are within 8.x version only. More on this FAQ. Sorry for my first post.
