I know I know.
Just wondering if there's anyway to get some value from my existing MC7 software on the crossgrade/upgrade to latest version 8 in any form (perpetual or sub).
I've been using MC7 on a perpetual license with no problems. But as you all know I'm trapped in Yosemite. Staying on the old OS is proving a burden.
I recently bought a new iMac and tested MC7 on it running sierra. But instant crash. And I'm assuming when I upgrade it to high sierra that won't help.
So forced to upgrade MC.
Just seems a shame to not get any further value out of that MC7 license.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks.
Hi,
I'm not sure I understand. Is your license current, or did you stop making the yearly renewal payment for support so you're permanently stuck on MC7?

I've never had a support plan. I bought the software before support plan/ subcription plans started.
So it's a software activated (non dongle) perpetual license for MC7. It's possible the term perpetual license wasn't used at that stage.
Thanks!
Ok, I understand. I'm sorry, but I don't know of any offers allowing people to upgrade an old license. Videoguys had one back in July, but I'm pretty sure it's long over now. You might check with them to see if they know of anything coming in the near future.
ok. thanks so much!
Brad
