Hi,
is there a way to delete a dissolve transition? I have added one that I don't like and I can't do undo command.
Ugo
Place your cursor over the effect, and press 'Delete Effect'
Juris Eksts: Place your cursor over the effect, and press 'Delete Effect'
I have always mapped this to my keyboard because of its incredible usefullness. Seems funny that it doesn't have an automatic keyboard shortcut.
I spend most of my time between New York and Los Angeles. In Nebraska.
It's a button available in the keyboard settings, You can assign it to any key You like, and, if memory serves, it's in the Composer Window by default.

Not in front of an Avid right now, but I think you can also put cursor on effect, and just hit 'Delete'.
Sorry Juris that just brings up the "you want to delete the whole track" dialoge box

The Delete fx button is on the timeline header or as mention earler avail to map to keyboard
Thanks Tom, that makes sense.
Could also try selecting with red arrow and then hitting delete.
Being Avid, there have to be several ways to do the job.
