Media Composer First - Does not respond

I am trying to check out the free Media Composer First.  I installed sucessfully and have Application Manager connected.  But after I launch the app and it loads it is completely un-responsive.  Can't click on anything in the menu bar or even minimize the program.  All I get is the default Windows chime when I try clicking around.

I have the same issue. Avid is unresponsive. Can a moderator please look into this?

If you're using the integrated GFX, then you can expect slow. If you're using an I5 you can expect slow.

The thing to remember about MCF is this is really NOT a consumer level editor. It's really an intro to Media Composer and has much the same requirements. In other words, it wants a higher end system with decent graphics card and lots of memory. The purpose is to get people using MCF and then moving to MC.
