    DVD/Blu-ray Authoring Software

Any recommendations on DVD/Blu-ray burning software? I have an old copy of Avid DVD by sonic but it seems cumbersome and the result isn't that great.  Suggestions please.

Scenarist is not only overkill for making a basic BD disk, the price is truly exorbitant. As in the tens of thousands of dollars range for BD. You can't even get the actual price without getting a quote directly from Scenarist or a reselller. And if you get it for a lot cheaper, then it's a pirate copy and we don't discuss those here.

TMPGEnc Authoring Works  by Pegasys is a good program. You can get better results with this than from Avid DVD.

I would still recommend Adobe Eccore CS6. I know, it´s outdated and with no support anymore, but it´s still available, if you have an Adobe CC video plan. Just go to "older versions" and install Premiere CS6. This will install Premiere CS6 AND Encore CS6. You can uninstall Premiere after this, Encore will stay put. Works like a charm, very simple to use.

    Hope this helps

What is editing? It´s the process of transforming a collection of badly focussed or horribly framed shots containing reversed screen directions, flare and dirt into a smooth visual statement of the script... ... for which the director takes the credit!

For a basic bluray, Toast work really well.  If you need to have mor functions and menus, Adobe encore works great.
