    MC and Digi 002

I'm using MC8.9.0 with the 002 Rack. Everything works as it should except that when I exit MC, I have to power cycle the 002 in order to use it again. I get the impression that MC doesn't release it properly. After MC exits, the 1394 light stays off. Any one else with this setup seeing the same issue?

By the way, I don't what that symbol is, in the timeline window, that shows you the 002 is connected and locked. It's unreadable. It used to be a very easty to see '002' in green when it was locked but now it looks like random pixels that you have to hover over with the mouse in order to know what they are.

    Re: MC and Digi 002

Has this worked correctly in the past, with previous versions of MC?

In the past, i've used the 002 with versions 5 and 6 of MC (and win 7) and never had any problems.

When this problem occurs, is the 002 still seen in 'devices' (in Windows System properties)?

    Re: MC and Digi 002

    Thanks for replying, Bruno.

I've used with MC 8.x without any problems, as far as I can remember. I used it back in February but I'm not sure what version of MC I was on and I don't remember any issues. I've used it with MC5 and 6 with no issues.

It was gone from Devices. That's one place I checked first. I had to reboot my machine to get it back. I've just tested it again and it seems to be behaving now. When I quit MC, the 48KHz led of the Sample Rate is on but the 1394 light is off. When I re-launch MC, it seems to detect it and the 1394 light comes back on. Maybe that was just one-off but I'll keep an eye on it and report back any further issues.
