ISIS 5000, replace system disk, what to think of?

    Hi

Gona help some guys to replace a failed system disk on their ISIS 5000 without support contract..

I assume that the order of the disks are the same here in the app as it is on the back of the engine?

And with a backup of the partition files, we can recover even if disk 2 fails?

I don't believe the visual representation of the drives necessarily matches the physical order. Shut down the system, pull a drive and see if it starts.

If you enter the Intel RAID management at the BIOS level, it might be clearer.

The Intel software at the OS level also should provide you with the serial number of the good drive.
