Free download of "Introduction to Avid Media Composer | First"

While writing my review of Media Compser | First for TheBroadcastBridge I decided to update my Switcher's Quick Guide to the Avid Media Composer V6 to become Introduction to Avid Media Composer | First.

My review will likely go up in late Septemeber, but I've decided to post my Introduction now.

The 150-page introduction is aimed at those who use NLE's like FCP 7, Lightworks, Premiere, or have tried Resolve but find its1300-page manual a bit much. For this reason, my introduction is oriented toward traditional 3-point editing because these four editors are traditional--all were developed in the late `80s or early `90s. Essentialy the same time period as Media Composer.

You can download it free at: https://www.scribd.com/document/357832327/Introduction-to-Avid-Media-Composer-First

    Enjoy!

    Steve Mullen
