    Sequence's A1 and A2 audio switches (Waveforms unchanged)

    Help please,

    I seem to have a problem with patching audio. When I patch a source clip's A1 to the sequence's A2 and source clip's A2 to sequence's A1... the audio of the next clip down-stream switches. The down-stream's A1 audio plays on A2 and A2 on A1. The waveforms of A1 and A2 do not change... only the audio. If I put a-one-frame gap between CLIP 2 and CLIP 1 the problem goes away.

    The Sequence:

    1. I have an empty sequence V1, A1, A2, A3, A4 (mono audio)
    2. I Splice in CLIP 1: V1-->V1, A1-->A1, A2-->A2, A3-->A3, A4-->A4 (mono audio)
    3. I splce CLIP 2 in front of CLIP 1: V1-->V1, A2-->A1A1-->A2, A3-->A3, A4-->A4 (mono audio)
    4. CLIP 1's A1 audio plays on A2 and its A2 audio plays on A1
    5. Place a 1-frame gap between CLIP 2 and CLIP 1 the problem goes away.

    (CAPS ON) Scrubbing cursor across the audio of CLIP-1 plays A1 and A2 correctly. But playing the clip in real-time plays A1 audio on A2 and A2 audio on A1  SWITCHED (Incorrectly). The waveforms never change.

    Have you tried creating a new user setting and if that doesn't work a new project (and copy the bins into it)?

    USER SETTINGS: Created a new user profile = DIDN'T FIX

    NEW PROJECT, IMPORT BINS: I created a new project, imported the bins, created a new sequence, added clips = DIDN'T FIX

    **ALSO TRIED BOTH**

    USER SETTINGS -AND- NEW PROJECT, IMPORT BINS: I also tried both. I created a new project AND new user settings. After opening the bins in the new project and using the new user settings the audio is still wrong. = DIDN'T FIX

    Thanks again for your reply. Much appreciated. Any other tests or fixes?

    How could clip's audio change the track order of the timeline. A1->A1 patching works fine. A1->A2 makes downstream timeline clip's A1 play on A2.

    Re: Sequence's A1 and A2 audio switches (Waveforms unchanged)

    ***FOUND THE PROBLEM????? (MAYBE)***

    SOLOING A1 audio from the TIMELINE = WRONG AUDIO (A2 plays on A1) (See first entry in this post)

    SOLOING A1 audio from the ***AUDIO MIXER*** window = ***CORRECT*** AUDIO (A1 audio plays on A1)

    Seems the audio patching is fine in the timeline, but there is a programming problem with the SOLO BUTTON on the TIMELINE window. Using the SOLO BUTTON on the AUDIO MIXER window plays the correct audio on A1 in the timeline.

    Re: Sequence's A1 and A2 audio switches (Waveforms unchanged)

    ***FIXED???***

    Wiggling the LEVEL SLIDERS in the mixer window for A1 and A2 tracks seems to have completely fixed the problem. Moved the levels up and down a bit in the AUDIO MIXER window for A1 and A2 and then set them back to zero. Everything seems to work fine now using the SOLO BUTTON in the AUDIO MIXER and the TIMELINE window.
