A Windows 10 update on Friday disabled our Nvidia GPU. When I downloaded the lastest qualified driver that Avid points to, I get an error that the version of the driver is not compatible with the current version of Windows. Anyone else get this?
Thanks,Marc
what version of MC are you on and what driver did you install?

Marianna,
We are on MC 8.8.3 and had already our Nvida set to 361.91 from when we were on 8.6.5. I downloaded 375.86 on Friday (the one linked to via the Avid document that said it was qualified). That gave me a failure notice. This all happened immediate after a restart on Friday when updating to Windows 10 Enterprise, version 1703.
I wrote you privately on Friday when this happened to the email address you have previously provided.
The avid document page is sending me to a non-Window 10 version of the driver.

Is this correct?

+1 for getting the same issue with the creators update.Just installed it on a suite to test, and my sceond monitor thinks its out of range and running at 30hz. The nvidia control panel thinks monitor 2 is made by hp, yet its lg.Tried various nvidia drivers from 354.99 to 376 from utilities folder to 377 from nvidia site. all the same.
Ive got an Nvidia Quadra 4000
Any ideas other than a roll back?

Please follow the link I posted above
I did before posting here. Still the same
We have a Quadro M5000 and I was able to manually search the Nvidia website to get the driver for Windows 10. There is a version for 375.86, but you cannot find it on the page (or access it) from the page Avid links to.
Here it is from Nvidia for Windows 10:

Please check that your specific GPU is able to use this one.
Avid, I would like to request that when you link in your compatability matrix, you link to either a page that can select which flavor of Windows to download, or provide a separate link clearly marked: "Windows 10" or "Windows 7/8".
I've tried a 375.86 from the nvidia site, and the one avid supplies in the utilities folder is 375.86 too.Neither have worked so far for me.Currently trying each version on nvidias site one at a time. One must kick start it !
ok baby steps forwards.Found a version windows likes 375.63http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/109629/en-us
Just within avid, sequences with baselight in, dont load (pop up sticks on initialing) which we've seen before, which filmlight have said previously is gfx driver issues.
Slow process when rebooting each time preforming a clean install of gfx drivers!
Im now working.
Very very bizarre. Im not fully confident that nvidias "clean" install really is clean?
Having got windows working with 375.63 (but baselight not happy) i tried the avid 375.86 with clean install (which previously had not worked). Windows likes, Avid likes, baselight not. WTF!!!Then I did a clean install again of quite an old driver, 354.99 which initially earlier again hadnt worked. Now strangely windows likes, avid likes, and so does baselight.
Very bizarre, but thats IT for you.So for others. 375.63 is here: http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/109629/en-us
354.99 is here: http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/106534/en-us
AntCaladine,
I have a setup similar to yours (Q4000, MC 8.6.3) and was also experiencing problems with the driver on W10. Your solution including 354.99 and a clean install fixed my issue.
Thanks for your perseverence and work.
Jacques
No problem, glad your fixed
