I'm still in my first month of using Avid and this is my first post to the Community after searching.
All I wish to do is export a small 30 second portion of a sequence to an mp4 file.
Would someone be able to share the step by step process?
Add a mark in and mark out on the sequence and then choose file export. Ensure use marks at the top is slected (or it will do the whole sequence) then set the export options as required (ideally do a same as source export and then convert to mp4 in another app)
When you have the sequence marked with an in and out. Click and drag the the record monitor to a bin to create a sub sequence. Then just export that sub sequence as above.
With both options you can also enable tracks and have that followed across.
