I am adding closed captions for the first time and finding it frustrating. I had the captions made for me and I have the STL file and an avid text file as a second option. I tried placing the file on the timeline and the STL files have no time code to reference and. The text file dropped all of the text into one box and included time code as well as the text.
Is there a reference someone can point out?
Don't know if this helps.. link

Can we go back to the way audio nodes used to be selected? Please? ie if you have audio nodes at the same time on selected tracks; then selecting 1 audio node selects them all at that time. Having to shift select nodes or add an in and out is time consuming and counter productive. At least make it an option.
Did you try changing the sequence timecode to match the timecodes in the STL subtitles you have? You can open them up in a text editor.
Did you use the sub cap effect?
