What is wrong with cmd-a to select all my (XDCAM) files in the import/media link screen?
Since 8.7 this is not working anymore and i have to use Shift or cmd to select more files.
Also a pain in the a** for a long time is that i always get the warning that i have to fill in my disc label. I 100% agree. But please give me the option to do that before selecting my files.
And the last one, opening avid, my last project is automatic selected, but i cant just press enter anymore to continue. Now i have to grab my mouse and press ok. Why.....?
Why do you implement these changes? It makes our workflow slower than the last 10 year. And in my option, it makes no sence.
Kind regards to all, Peter
I've also noticed this in 8.7.2 when importing audio files.

I'm not sure but that is not the correct workflow. Click on the folder above the BPAV directory or the BPAV directory and Avid (via the correct AMA plugin) will link to all the XDCAM clips in that folder.
Can we go back to the way audio nodes used to be selected? Please? ie if you have audio nodes at the same time on selected tracks; then selecting 1 audio node selects them all at that time. Having to shift select nodes or add an in and out is time consuming and counter productive. At least make it an option.
I am talking abut XDCAM Disc files.
I have confirmed that it's not working, as you report, but am looking for follow up if that changed for some purposeful reason or if it's a bug.
Cmd-a works everywhere. But not in this window.
Thanks for testing. Do you report it as a bug?
Did you test also the XDCAM label bug? This is for a long time a bug in my idea.
Try to import some files from disc with entering the label. you can not. You only can fill in the label after the "error" from MC that you have to fill in the label.
But thats we i wanted, but could not...:-)
Avid knows CMD+A doesn't work, and they think it should, since all input/output windows are driven by the OS. But they are checking to see if that was a change or a bug, so I'll report back when I know more.
Sorry we don't use XDCAM here so I have no way of testing that workflow.
Thank you Kevin.
cmd+a is also not working for me when importing media like wav files.
I'm working on OSX 10.9.5 with MC Version 8.6.5.
