Dear Avid, Hi Bob,
I hope you are doing good. If you want I can open a case with support for this minor issue.
I have just setup a Nexis System director with 2 E4 chassis. The whole setup went fine except that all 3 chassis after install of the 7.2 version do not keep their chassis ID. Regardless if I select the number with the arrows or manually enter a 00, 01, 02 or 03 the system confirms the update is applied succesfully but the web page returns the ID to 0 and the display on each chassis does not display anything.
It does not seem to impact the system in any other way. Any idea what might be going on?

There is a known issue with the Enclosure ID sometimes not
sticking. I hope to get it fixed soon.

This might be a loose ribbon cable; if you tap the side of
the engine where the ID is located, does the ID flicker. Have you tried powering
down and restarting the chassis?
Before the update to 7.2 all 3 displays on the System director and 2 E4 chassis were working normal, directly after the update to 7.2 all 3 stopped functioning.
We've had reports of this issue for a while, nothing
specific to v7.2. Have you tried to tap the engine? Have you completely powered
Yes. We have just moved the whole system from our Telmaco Offices to the customer Star channel.
They have been rack mounted and by tomorrow evening they should have power again.
I'll report back if the transportation caused any change.
