Workflow needed for Arri Alexa footage

I took on a short film that was shot on the Arri Alexa Mini. The footage is anamorphic shot in 4K UHD 16:9 prores XQ. I'm trying to bring it into Avid 8.5 using AMA and I can't figure out how to unsqueeze it. I've tried going into source settings and changing the image size to 1920x1080 16:9 and aspect ratio to 2.35:1 or 2.39:1 and it still looks aqueezed. I did download the Arri Plug-in. Does anyone have info on the proper workflow for this kind of footage? Is there a tutorial I'm not finding online? There's also a baked in LUT that I'm not sure if I'm seeing but that's probably the next fire to put out. The producer wants me to send him stills by Thursday night for a meeting he has Friday and I am totally lost. Thanks so much for any info you might have!

I am working on MC 8.5.1, OSX Yosemitie 10.10.5, 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5

Re: Workflow needed for Arri Alexa footage

I found this doing a forum search I believe this is what you are after.

Ok I found the solution in the meantime.

    FrameFlex Settings:

    Image size 2288x858

    Frame Aspect Ratio: 2.39:1, Pillarbox

Remove 'full range to video levels' to correct the luminance levels.

Transcoding in Resolve is twice as fast as in Avid though...
