Everytime I try to color correct a specific video clip in my timeline, the avid crashes or I get the warning: ONLY CC Effect Correction can be applied to filler.
This clip is not filler, but avid thinks it is. Any ideas how to fix this?
Thanks!
Which version of MC are you using?Which Mac OS?Does it happen with only 1 clip?
If so is it the frame that shows in your timeline as half a frame (I field) off from your previous post? Can you Import that clip again if it was originally imported? Or Relink and transcode it again if it was Linked. Is the clip edited to the timeline from its first frame? If so try marking in 2 frames into the clipDoes the clip have audio? If so can you edit it into the timeline without audio.
Version: 8.6.1
OS 10.11.5
It seems to be happening to multiple clips on a single video track (I think).
This particular clip also caused my color correction to crash. I was just able to get it to work, by adding an edit to the clip. This made it line up with a frame that the clips above and below lined up to (I am talking about the frame that you can move to 1 frame at a time on the timeline). This clip, before I added the add edit, was inbetween the frames in the timeline.
This clip was ama linked in a 1080 23.976 project and then transcoded. The transcoded bin was then brought into a 720 59.94 project.
the clip is not the first frame of available video.
The clip does have audio, but I am not using it. I am using audio from an external recorder.
