Re: Demo Reels and show YOUR stuff part II

New Year in Japan. Shot with a Sony Z1, edited in Liquid in 1080i. Encoded for Flash.

New Year is the big one over here.
It is a Shinto festival and over 84% of the Japanese follow shintoism - Japan's indigenous religion.

Christmas is just a commercial break!
(About 0.2% of the Japanese people are Christians)

    Wedding Video: PreCeremony Intro

Hey guys, this is a preceremony intro I did not long ago - it needs some work, but it is the "rough draft." I'm open for suggestions, some of which I'm aware of... Song doesn't flow very well with the video (client picked the song)...Titles are a bit hard to read...

Let me know what you think! I'm 19 years old and just started doing this about a year ago (so go easy on me! j/k).

    Thanks,

    My first professional music video...

I produced, directed, and edited this (on Avid of course!) back in 2005. Currently I'm working on pre-production for another music video, and a feature film. The person who put this up for me is not very good at video and put up a glitchy copy, so apologies for the glitches...

    Hello Everybody,

I've just posted a few video clips (more to come) to YouTube. "Hello" and "Excalibur" are two shorts I directed and edited. "Simon Says" is a trailer for a feature film I cut, starring Crispin Glover. Let me know what you think.

    Hi all,

I did some work for Good Morning America last week.  ABC anchor man Bob Woodruff was injured in Iraq a little over a year ago.  Happily, he has made a remarkable recovery.

Swifhaus... you are an editor after my own heart. I love your work! You know how to use elements of design in precisely the right way, at the right time... without trying to throw a bunch of effects in the viewers face for the sake of showing off what is possible, etc... You are a true artist AND a true storyteller. :) -- a great communicator.

Re: Demo Reels and show YOUR stuff part II

    Hi all,

I added a couple of recent clips to my website.  Lingerie Academy and Golfer's Rally are both new.  Before you go clicking over to Lingerie Academy hoping for some excitement, you should know it's a news story about a department store trying to help men choose lingerie for their wives and girlfriends, and has no prurient interest.  Sorry.  Cool

    My Website

    Thanks for any constructive comments.

    good luck,
    Carl

p.s. This post's stickyness had expired, so I restuck it.  I hope nobody minds.
