All was fine working with MC6 and MC7 and the Blackmagic Design Intensity Pro card.
However, I recently upgraded to MC8.4.2 and encountered the following problem:
When I create a new UHD project (3840x2160) and either import or link to a UHD file (A Quicktime 10 bit, 422HQ UHD clip created with an ATOMOS recorder), the moving image, passing through the Mac, Blackmagic Intensity Pro Card (as installed in a Sonnet Technologies Echo Express SE II expansion chassis via thundebolt) and into my Panasonic HD Plasma monitor, contains serious signal break up. This break up is not seen while playing in the AVID Composer Source or Record windows. When I create a Video Mixdown, the new file contains signal breakup as played in the AVID source window.
When I create a HD project with MC8.4.2, all media files play and output fine.
Before upgrading from MC7 (and BMD Desktop Video 10.4) all was fine.
What do you think is the problem with the UHD project?

Any ideas or assistance is much appreciated...
Problem solved.
BMD Desktop Video v10.5 is in conflict with AVID MC.
Uninstalled and replaced with earlier v10.4.3.
All works fine now...
